Manchester City have reached an agreement for the transfer of Ferran Torres, according to reports.
City are aiming to make some big improvements to their squad this summer after a disappointing domestic campaign with a centre-back, or two, being the priority.
However, the Blues are also keeping their eyes peeled for any potential value for money in the market to sign a new winger following the departure of Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich.
Spanish starlet Torres is on the club's shortlist after a breakout season in La Liga in which he has earned a reputation as a skillful dribbler and has impressed with his versatility in attacking positions.
According to GoalEspana, via City Xtra, the two clubs have agreed a fee for the 20-year-old in the region of €30-40million, though it's not clear how much of the fee would be bonus based.
It's also claimed that Torres has signed a five-year deal at the Etihad and could be unveiled next week, though it remains to be seen how the government's new quarantine laws for people arriving in the country from Spain could impact those plans.
Meanwhile, Cardiff City youngster Cameron Coxe is reportedly set to join City.
Eyebrows were raised amongst Cardiff fans when it was announced that the promising full-back has been deemed surplus to requirements and released at the end of June.
However, WalesOnline report that City have been scouting Coxe for a while and will now make a move to sign the 21-year-old on a free transfer with the view of loaning him out to one of their many sister clubs.
