Man City add new player to Champions League squad ahead of PSG trip

Manchester City have called up under-18 captain Kwaku Oduroh to their Champions League squad ahead of the trip to Paris Saint-Germain.

Oduroh, 18, has featured in all but one U18 Premier League game for City this season as the youngsters remain in contention for the North division title. Predominately a right-back, Oduroh has three assists from 20 appearances this season. He was also named on the bench for the under-21's EFL Trophy group stage game at League One side Lincoln.

City can name youngsters in their Champions League 'B List' squad up to the day before a game, with players born on or after January 1 1999 eligible to be included if they have been eligible to play for the club for two years since their 15th birthday. That means players like Eric Garcia and Phil Foden are included on that list and not the main squad.

Now, Oduroh has been added to the list, while fellow right-back Alpha Dionkou is also among the youngsters named.

Also on the 'B List', according to the UEFA website, are goalkeepers Louie Moulden, Ciaran Slicker and James Trafford, defenders Garcia, Dionkou and Garcia, as well as midfielders Foden, Tommy Doyle, Adrian Bernabe, Cole Palmer, Felix Nmecha and James McAtee.

Liam Delap is not eligible for the 'B List' due to his age.

City travel to Paris on Tuesday ahead of the semi-final first leg on Wednesday night. In the quarter-finals, they took a 23-man squad to Germany for the away leg against Borussia Dortmund, so if any youngsters are involved they will likely find out later today.

Man City Champions League squad for knockout stage:

Goalkeepers: Ederson, Steffen, Carson

Defenders: Walker, Dias, Stones, Ake, Zinchenko, Laporte, Mendy, Cancelo

Midfielders: Gundogan, Rodri, De Bruyne, Bernardo, Torres, Fernandinho.

Forwards: Mahrez, Sterling, Jesus, Aguero.

'B List': Moulden, Slicker, Trafford, Garcia, Dionkou, Oduroh, Foden, Doyle, Bernabe, Palmer, Nmecha, McAtee.
