Man City 2019-20 home kit and special 125th anniversary shirt 'leaked'

Manchester City's new home kit for the 2019/20 season could feature striking purple shoulder stripes, according to a leaked image.

The new kit will mark the first in a new deal with Puma, who replace Nike in a 10-year deal.

And although a retro style shirt leaked last week, Footy Headlines claim to have an image of the real shirt that City will wear next season as they attempt to defend their Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup successes.

The shirt is predominantly sky blue as expected, but takes a deviation from recent designs with a striking purple stripe along either shoulder.

The purple theme continues with the logos of Puma and main sponsors Etihad, as well as the recognition of City's 125th anniversary underneath the club crest.

That anniversary also appears to be recognised with a limited edition 125th anniversary shirt, leaked by Twitter account @esvaphane.

The classic-style shirt has the current logo on a plan sky blue shirt with a white collar and sleeve-trim. On the inside of the shirt is a recreation of the 'certificate of incorporation' of Manchester City in 1894 with the words 'Manchester City since 1894.'
