A man has been charged with the death of a pensioner in Hamilton.
Police Scotland confirmed the 35-year-old male had been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a 75-year-old woman following an incident at house on Dalziel Street on Sunday, February 9.
Her death is being treated as suspicious.
The man is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court today.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
