A man is due in court today charged with rape and kidnap after an alleged attack on a schoolgirl in south west London.
Kadian Nelson, 26, from Mitcham, is accused of raping the teenager after police were called at 7am on Tuesday.
The alleged incident happened in North Place, Merton.
Nelson is due to appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court to face the two charges.
The girl and her family are being supported by specialist Metropolitan Police officers.
