Man charged with rape after woman attacked in north west London

A man has been charged after a woman was raped in north west London.

Dorin Varga, 33, has been charged with rape, sexual assault, robbery and assault, Scotland Yard said.

Varga, of Victoria Avenue, Wembley, will appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.

Police said the charge has been made in connection with an incident which occurred at 4am on Saturday, August 8 at a house in Hilltop Avenue in Harlesden.

Detectives from the North West BCU’s Safeguarding team are leading the investigation.
