A MAN charged with murdering his former partner has died in prison.
Lee Greenan, 46, was accused of killing Vikki Soloman at a house on Craigievar Square in Edinburgh on Monday evening.
The 44-year-old was found with serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland said Greenan had been found dead at HMP Edinburgh on Sunday morning.
A spokesperson said: “Around 8.55am on Sunday, we were made aware of the death of a 46-year-old man at HMP Edinburgh.
“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
The Scottish Prison Service has been approached for comment.
