A man has been arrested following a fatal stabbing at a unit block in regional NSW.
A 37-year-old man was found with a stab wound at a South Tamworth property at about 3.15pm on Sunday and died shortly afterwards.
Later in the evening a 28-year-old man was arrested at a nearby home on Cossa Street.
He was taken to Tamworth Police Station and is assisting investigators.
The victim has not yet been formally identified and anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact police.
