A man has been charged with murder after another man's body was found at a Villawood home yesterday.
The body of the 41-year-old was found in an apartment on Gundaroo Street in Sydney's west after reports of an assault at about 5:30pm.
Another man, 31, was arrested in a nearby street and taken to hospital where he was sedated and put under police guard.
Police said the two men were known to each other, but not related.
The 31-year-old man has also been charged with two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He has been refused bail and will appear at Bankstown Local Court today.
