A man has been charged with the murder of Alexander Allan in East Kilbride.
Dylan Shaw, from East Kilbride, appeared on petition at Hamilton Sheriff Court today in connection with the death of the 43-year-old.
The 30-year-old gave no plea or declaration to charges of murder, attempting to defeat the ends of justice and breaching bail.
He was remanded in custody.
Mr Allan was found seriously injured at a flat in Ivanhoe, Calderwood on Tuesday, February 7 and died at the scene.
Shaw is expected to appear back in the dock next week.
