Man charged with committing lewd act in stairwell of Bristol flat block

A man is due in court suspected of masturbating in the stairwell of a flat block.

Damian Smith, of Pinewood Drive, Cheltenham, is charged with committing the "public nuisance" in Bristol.

The alleged incident occurred on December 14, 2020, at Ashley Court on Ashley Road, Montpelier.

The 40-year-old is charged with "indecently exposing himself by removing his clothes and masturbating on the stairwell between the third and fourth floor of the building".

Smith is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates Court today (Friday, October 15).
