A man who allegedly indecently assaulted a young girl in Adelaide's Rundle Mall over the weekend has been arrested and charged, after being tracked on CCTV.
Police were called to a shop in the popular shopping precinct just before 4:00pm on Saturday, after receiving reports of an indecent assault on a child.
When police arrived, the suspect had gone, allegedly pushing a staff member as he left. But the 38-year-old man was then tracked on CCTV.
"[Patrols] located him a short distance away. Neither victim received any injuries," police said in a statement.
Detectives from SA Police's Eastern Adelaide branch searched the man's home and allegedly found child-exploitation material.
The man was arrested and charged with aggravated indecent assault, assault and possessing child-exploitation material.
He was refused bail.
