Man charged with hijacking offences in West Belfast

A hijacking incident in Belfast over the weekend has led to charges being made by police.

Detectives investigating a hijacking incident on Finaghy Road North in West Belfast on Saturday, June 13, have charged a 37-year-old man with several offences.

The man has been charged to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court today (Monday June 15) with offences, including hijacking and aggravated vehicle taking causing damage to the vehicle.

A PSNI spokesman said: "As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service."
