A 57-year-old man has been charged with high-range drink driving following an incident at Charlestown on Sunday.
About 6pm, police responded to a call from witnesses stating that a man was slumped behind the wheel of a car in the middle of the road in Jergi Close.

Police said they arrived on the scene and conducted a breath test which returned a positive reading.
The man allegedly denied that he had been driving the vehicle, police said.
It is alleged that the man was so affected by alcohol that he could not stand and walk away from his vehicle.
Officers arrested him and took him to Charlestown Police Station where a breath analysis gave the reading of 0.229, which is classed as high-range.
The man's licence was immediately suspended.
