A Chicago man was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly tried to fight police officers during a traffic stop in west suburban Lisle.
About 10:25 p.m., officers responded to calls of an erratic driver in the area of Maple Avenue and Naperville Road, Lisle police said.
They stopped Anthony Jackson’s vehicle and were preparing to take him into custody for aggravated driving on a revoked license when the 39-year-old allegedly began to fight officers, police said.
Jackson, who lives in Humboldt Park on the West Side, was arrested and hit with an additional aggravated battery charge for the alleged fight, police said.
He posted bond and was released from the DuPage County Jail at 12:55 a.m. on Thursday, according to the DuPage County sheriff’s office.
