A driver has been charged with DUI for a crash that killed two people and injured three others over the weekend on the Bishop Ford Freeway in south suburban Dolton.

Armando Jesus Bahena, 19, is charged with aggravated DUI causing death for the crash Aug. 3 in the southbound lanes of I-94 at Sibley Boulevard, according to Illinois State Police.

Bahena was driving a black 1999 Chevrolet Impala at 2:23 a.m. when it was involved in a crash with a Jeep SUV and a semitrailer, state police said. The semi veered off the road and crashed into the concrete bridge support at Sibley, where it went up in flames.
