Police have arrested and charged a man with the attempted murder of two men after an alleged attack in Fife.
A number of officers and paramedics were spotted in the town last night following the incident in Elphinstone Street in Kincardine.
Both men aged 45 and 51 were treated by ambulance crews at the scene and did not require hospital treatment.
The 43-year-old suspect has also been charged with assault in connection with a third attack on a 55-year-old man within a wooded area near to the Scottish Police College.
He was rushed to Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert for treatment.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 43-year-old-man has been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of two men, aged 49 and 51 in Elphinstone Street, Kincardine on Tuesday, 18 May.
"The men did not require to go to hospital and were attended to by paramedics at the scene.
"The man has also been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault on a 55-year-old man in a wooded area, near to the Scottish Police College, Kincardine.
"The man was taken to Larbert Hospital. The 43-year-old man is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 19 May, 2021."
