A 29-year-old man was charged with burglary after Naperville police officers allegedly found him crawling out of a liquor store with a crowbar in hand.

Johnny Lee Robinson III smashed the back glass door of Jay’s Liquor Store, at 535 Fairway Drive, and set off the burglar alarm about 7:40 a.m. Monday, according to a statement from Naperville police.

Officers saw him crawl out the front door and run across North Aurora Road to a wooded area, where he was arrested, police said. Nothing was taken from the store.

Robinson, of Naperville, faces a count of felony burglary and a misdemeanor count of criminal damage to property.
