A Canberra man has been charged with attempted murder after two men were injured in a stabbing attack outside a brothel in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Damon Adrian Krook, 25, appeared in the ACT Magistrates Court this morning charged with attempted murder, possessing cocaine and inflicting grievous bodily harm.

Police said they were called to Grimwade Street in the industrial suburb of Mitchell about 4:30am on Tuesday after they received reports of a stabbing, in a carpark adjacent to a brothel and bar.

Officers said two injured men were treated by paramedics at the scene and were taken to hospital.

Later that day, Krook was arrested at a fast food restaurant in Holt following an appeal to the public for information.

He did not apply for bail and is due to face court again next month.
