Man charged with attempted murder in Clydach as alleged victim remains critical in hospital

Police have charged a man with attempted murder after an alleged serious assault in Clydach.

Officers descended on Clydach in the Swansea Valley on the night of Saturday, March 12, following the incident.

A 68-year-old man was taken to hospital with what were said to be serious facial injuries. He is said to be critical. You can read more stories about Swansea here.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "Following a serious assault of a man in Clydach on Sat, 12th March, 37-year-old Daniel Harrison has been charged with attempt murder.

"He is in police custody and will appear at Swansea Magistrates tomorrow (March 17). The victim remains in a stable but critical condition in hospital."
