A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was 'stabbed' in Co Derry.
The alleged incident occurred in Hawthorn Terrace in Coleraine early on Saturday morning.
A 29-year-old woman sustained 'a number of stab wounds to her body', police said.
She is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
A 28-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder, assault on police and harassment.
He is due to appear before Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday.
