A man has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of a 50-year-old man who sustained head injuries.
Peter Craig Adamcsik, 49, of Carmarthen Road, Fforestfach is also charged with possession of an offensive weapon, following the incident at Maesglas Road on Friday, February 14.
A man was taken to hospital with head injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
Adamcsik appeared at Swansea Magistrates' Court on Monday and is due to appear at Swansea Crown Court on March 20.
A South Wales Police spokesman said the force had been called at 3.38pm on February 14.
"Within a couple of hours of the incident being reported, two men and a woman had been arrested.
"The woman and one of the men were released without charge. A number of items were recovered from the scene including a knife."
