- An 18-year-old man, Subhan Ahmed, has been charged with assisting an offender following an arson attack on volunteer ambulances in London's Golders Green.
- Ahmed is alleged to have arranged to scrap his car to help others avoid arrest or prosecution in connection with the incident.
- The arson, which occurred on 23 March, involved four Hatzola ambulances being set on fire, causing gas canisters to explode and damaging nearby flats and a synagogue.
- Four other people – Hamza Iqbal, Rehan Khan, Judex Atshatshi, and a 17-year-old boy – have already been charged with arson and are due back in court in January.
- The Crown Prosecution Service said it was “vital that there should be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings”.
