Man charged over TV security guard assault

A man has been charged over an attack on a security guard at Channel Nine in Melbourne. (AAP)

A man faces several charges over an alleged assault of a security guard at Channel Nine's Melbourne headquarters.

Two men were arrested on Tuesday night over the Monday incident.

A 27-year-old man from Rowville, identified by Nine as Thomas Sewell, was charged with affray, recklessly causing injury and unlawful assault.

He was bailed to appear in court on July 27.

A 21-year-old Rowville man was also arrested on Tuesday, but released pending further enquiries.
