A man has been charged after he allegedly used a hidden mobile phone to record women using a toilet at a university campus.
The 28-year-old allegedly used stolen keys to access a service area behind a disabled toilet at a Fremantle campus to film his victims, Western Australian Police said on Thursday.
The incidents are alleged to have occurred between August 2023 and February and detectives from the Child Exploitation Operations unit are handling the investigation.
The man was charged with three counts each of unlawfully installing an optical surveillance device and trespass and one count of stealing as a servant
He is scheduled to appear in the Fremantle Magistrates Court on March 18.
The University of Notre Dame Australia has a large campus in the port city of Fremantle, which is located in the Perth metropolitan area.
