Man charged over spate of 'dine-and-dash' offences in Perth

Police have charged a man accused of being the second half of Perth's "dine-and-dash" couple with a number of offences.

A 41-year-old Marangaroo man will face court tomorrow charged with not paying for a meal and drinks at a Henley Brook restaurant earlier this month, using false credit card details to pay for car repairs, and breaching protective bail conditions.

The pair came to public attention after a restaurant in Henley Brook took to social media with pictures and claims they had dined at their business but not paid.

Lois Clover Loder, 44, appeared in court on Monday and indicated she will plead guilty to eight charges related to fraud and stealing.

Police prosecutors opposed Ms Loder's bail applications and said she had a significant criminal record, including 41 prior convictions for fraud.

However Magistrate Robert Young did grant bail, with several conditions, and Ms Loder is due to return to court on Thursday.

Police said inquiries into the pair's alleged activities were continuing.
