Man charged over import and supply of drugs in organised crime crackdown

Police have charged a 37-year-old man with serious drugs and money laundering offences in connection with the UK's biggest organised crime crackdown.

Detectives from the PSNI Organised Crime Unit have charged a man in connection with several serious drugs and money laundering offences.

He has been charged with offences including being concerned in the supply of Class A and Class B drugs, conspiracy to import Class A and Class B drugs and money laundering.

He was also charged with motoring offences.

The investigation is linked to Operation Venetic - the UK's biggest law enforcement operation against serious and organised crime.

The man has been remanded in custody to appear at Dungannon Crown Court on July 9.
