Madeline Morgan, 21, was sitting in the front passenger seat of a blue Nissan Skyline being driven by another man when it collided with the accused's blue Ford Falcon.

She received critical injuries and was rushed to Midland Hospital where her child was delivered, but they both died a short time later.

The driver of the Skyline in which Ms Morgan was travelling was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with life-threatening head and chest injuries.

He is due to appear in Midland Magistrates Court next month.
