Man charged over 'disturbance' at Scots restaurant after another loses life

A man has been charged in connection with a disturbance at a Scots restaurant after another lost his life.

The 44-year-old was found seriously injured at the premises on High Street, Inverkeithing after the alleged incident, which took place around 4.35pm on Friday September 17.

He was rushed to Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy by ambulance and died there a short time later.

A 26-year-old man was arrested and has since charged in connection with the incident.

Police are not looking for any other suspects.

He is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday, 20 September, 2021.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
