Cops have charged a man over an alleged serious assault on a Glasgow to Airdrie bus.
The alleged incident happened on the number two Airdrie service as it was driven through Glasgow city centre on Wednesday, March 6.
A man was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to a serious leg injury.
A 36-year-old has been arrested and is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
Police said in a statement: "A 36 year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this incident and is due before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday 24 April 2019.
"A full report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
