A Chicago man is accused of shooting up a vehicle last month on the Kennedy Expressway.
Christian Cruz, 24, is charged with one count of aggravated discharge of a firearm, according to Illinois State Police.
A 45-year-old man told ISP investigators that he was fired at multiple times when he was driving about 2:26 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-90 at River Road on May 6, state police said. No one was injured in the attack.
Investigators allegedly identified Cruz as the shooter during an investigation which included a review of video evidence, state police said.
Cruz was taken into custody Wednesday “without incident,” state police said.
He is scheduled to attend a bond hearing Thursday.
