Man charged in connection with two alleged sexual assaults and ‘disturbance’ in Glasgow

A man has been charged over two alleged sexual assaults in Glasgow.

Officers from Police Scotland said the assaults allegedly happened in the city’s Garscube Road and Speirs Wharf area last night, January 22.

Cops revealed they have arrested and charged a 26-year-old man in connection with both incidents.

He has also been charged in connection with an alleged disturbance which reportedly happened in Lilybank Gardens.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers in Glasgow have arrested and charged a 26-year-old man in connection with two sexual assault incidents in the Garscube Road and Speirs Wharf area in the evening of Friday, 22 January, 2021.

“He has also been charged in connection with a disturbance in the Lilybank Gardens area that same evening.

“He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 25 January, 2021.”
