A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of missing Kilmarnock woman Emma Faulds.
The 39-year-old woman was last seen in the Monkton area at around 9:10pm on Sunday April 28.
The suspect, 39, is due to appear in Ayr Sheriff Court today, Police Scotland confirm.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
