Man charged in connection with death of Jamie 'Jaggy' McGready in Glasgow flat

A man has been charged following a death of a man in a Glasgow flat.

Police were called to an address in Summertown Path, Govan, at 12.30am on Monday after reports of an incident.

Jamie McGready, 33, was found injured in the property.

He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, but died a short time later.

A 21-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection with the death.

He is due in Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
