A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged theft from a Scots graveyard.
The police were called in relation to the alleged incident at Cardonald Cemetery in Glasgow at around 8.30pm on Friday July 23.
Officers confirmed a 52-year-old man is now the subject of a report which will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.30 pm on Friday, 23 July, 2021, police were called in relation to an alleged theft of items from a graveyard in Cardonald, Glasgow.
"A 52-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal."
There are about 50,000 people buried at Cardonald Cemetery including 161 Commonwealth servicemen from World War 2.
Prisoners of war held at a camp near Johnstone Castle in the Renfrewshire area are also buried there.
