Man charged, guns seized after alleged threat at Hunter home

A man has been charged after he allegedly threatened another man while holding a gun during a domestic dispute in the Lower Hunter on the weekend.

Police were called to a property on Hinton Road at Osterley at about 10.30pm on Sunday after the alleged threat was reported.

Earlier in the evening, two men were involved in an altercation at the property.

Police said one of the men then retired to a granny flat where he allegedly threatened the other man through the window while holding a rifle.
