Police have arrested a 26-year-old man who allegedly posted pictures online of himself having sex with his partner without the partner's knowledge or consent.
ACT Policing said they had arrested and charged a 26-year-old man for distributing intimate images without consent.
"On Friday, July 24, 2020, the man filmed himself having sexual intercourse with the victim and later allegedly uploaded it to a pornographic website without the victim's knowledge," police said.
The police learnt about the allegation when the alleged victim reported it to them.
It is not known how long the two people had known each other.
Police said the female victim reported the matter to police on September 5, 2020, after discovering the footage on the website.
The video has since been removed by the website administrators.
The accused man was arrested on Thursday and was to face court on Friday.
