A man has been charged following a disturbance at a house in Rutherglen yesterday.
Police attended the scene on Chapel Street following a report of a concern for a person within the property.
Officers attended and a 40-year-old man created a disturbance within the property, with specialist officers then called to attend and safely remove the man from the property.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a concern for person within an address on Chapel Street, Rutherglen, around 7.45pm on Wednesday, 15 April, 2020.
"Officers attended and a 40-year-old man created a disturbance within the property. Specialist officers attended and he was later safely removed.
"The man has been charged in relation to this incident and will appear at court at a later date".
