Police have arrested and charged a man after a group of children were allegedly threatened with a knife in an Edinburgh park.
Officers launched an investigation following reports of a man acting aggressively during a disturbance at Lochend Park on Friday, May 14.
A number of children, some as young as 12, were reportedly present at the time however no one was injured.
Police Scotland have now confirmed that a 32-year-old man has been charged.
A force spokesperson said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a disturbance in Lochend Park on Friday, 14 May, 2021.
“He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 19 May, 2021.”
