Man charged after young woman assaulted in Glasgow attack

A man has been arrested and charged after a woman was assaulted in an early morning attack.

The 20-year-old victim reported being targeted at around 1.30am on Friday December 13 last year.

She was walking in Napiershall Street, close to Great Western Road, when the incident took place.

Police Scotland previously issued a media appeal to trace the suspect.

They confirmed that a 35-year-old man has now been arrested in connection.

He appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
