Man charged after women report being followed through streets in Paisley

Police have arrested and charged a man after a number of women in Paisley claim he followed them through the town.

The 35-year-old man was reported to the police and he is now due to appear before court at a later date.

Officers say information from the public helped with their investigations in the case.

Following the charge, DC Kate Wason said: “I would like to thank the public for their assistance following our earlier appeal.”
