Man charged after woman 'assaulted' in Glasgow

Glasgow

A man has been charged in connection with the assault of a woman in Glasgow last week.

The incident took place on Woodlands Road, near the junction with St George’s Road in the West End of the city.

The assault against the 29-year-old woman occurred at around 3.45pm on Friday, February 18.

She sustained a minor injury and went to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital as a precautionary measure.

A 36-year-old man is now expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, February 24.
