Two people were rushed to hospital for treatment and arrested after a two car crash in Glasgow on Tuesday evening.
A 41-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman were involved in a collision on Stronend Street, around 7.25pm.
The man was arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences. He is expected to appear at court today.
The woman was arrested and has been released pending further enquiries.
Photographs from the scene show a heavy place presence in the area following the incident as the road was closed and later reopened around 10pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.25pm on Tuesday, 14 February, 2023, police received a report of a two-vehicle crash on Stronend Street, Glasgow.
“Two people – a 41-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman – were taken to hospital for treatment.
“The man was arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences, and is expected to appear at court on Wednesday, 15 February, 2023. The woman was arrested and has been released pending further enquiries.
“The road was cleared around 10pm.”
