A man has been charged after a teenager was allegedly seriously sexually assaulted in a Scots park.
Cops swooped on Glasgow's Tollcross Park on Saturday after the 17-year-old was allegedly attacked between between 9pm and 11pm.
The area was cordoned off as cops carried out their investigations.
Now the force has said that a 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A spokesman for Greater Glasgow police division said he was due to appear in court today.
He said: "A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault on a 17-year-old girl within Tollcross Park, Glasgow on Saturday, 23 January, 2021.
"He is due to appear to Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 25 January, 2021.
"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
