Police have confirmed a man has been arrested and charged after a serious assault on Hope Street.
The attack took place on the evening of Wednesday September 11 in Glasgow city centre.
An 18-year-old has now been charged in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland statement released today said: "Police in Glasgow have arrested and charged a man in connection with a serious assault in the city centre which happened on Wednesday, 11 September 2019.
"A man was assaulted and sustained injuries that required hospital treatment at around 6.15pm on Hope Street.
"A 18-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
