Man charged after police seize £128k of cannabis in Hamilton raid

A man has been charged in connection with alleged drug offences after police seized a cannabis haul with an estimated street value of £128,400.

The recovery was made at a property on Brora Crescent in Hamilton yesterday, February, 18, following an intelligence-led Police Scotland operation.

The man is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court today.

Sergeant Thomas Cairns, of Cambuslang Tabernacle Street Police Station, said: "We are committed to targeting the illegal supply of drugs in our communities and any information we receive will be taken seriously and acted upon.

"We rely on members of the public to provide us with information which we can act on. We would encourage anyone with information about suspicious activity to contact Police Scotland on 101 or if you wish to remain anonymous, to call Crimestoppers on 0880 555 111."
