Man charged after police race to 'disturbance' in Aberdeen city centre

A man has been arrested and charged following a 'disturbance' in Aberdeen.

Police were called to reports of the disturbance on the city's King Street at around 9.20pm on Saturday May 29

Officers confirmed the incident and revealed that a 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged.

The circumstances surrounding the incident were not disclosed.

No injuries have been reported at this stage.

The man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on May 31.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 9.10pm, officers were called to the King Street area of Aberdeen following a report of a disturbance.

"A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

"He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, May 31."
