Man charged after Patchway attack left victim 'critical' in hospital

A 26-year-old faces a string of charges after an incident in Patchway which left another man critically injured in hospital.

Jonathan Sadri of Bradley Stoke, will appear on court on Monday.

He has been charged overnight with causing grievous bodily harm with intent following the incident on in Patchway on Friday.

Sadri has also been charged with dangerous driving, criminal damage, failing to stop at the scene of an accident, failing to provide a specimen for analysis, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

He is due to appear before Bristol Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (October 4).

The incident at around 4pm on Coniston Road, Patchway left a 59-year-old man in hospital in a critical condition.

A 26-year-old man was arrested following a later incident inside the Tesco Express store on Gloucester Road.
