Police have arrested a man in connection with an alleged murder bid at a Glasgow recycling centre which left a man seriously injured.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Dawsholm Recycling Centre in Maryhill on Saturday, September 11 after the alarm was raised.
A major police investigation was launched after 41-year-old Robert Daniel was rushed to hospital with ‘significant injuries’.
Officers previously appealed for anyone who may have seen a black Ford Kuga car in the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
The motor was later found burnt out on a cycle path near Kelso Street and Dumbarton Road.
Police Scotland have now announced that a 27-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.
A force spokesperson said: “Following enquiries, a 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in Dalsholm Road, Glasgow on Saturday, 11 September, 2021.
“The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, 1 October, 2021.”
