A man has been charged following the death of a motorcyclist on the A82 yesterday (Sunday).
Police received reports of a crash on the dual carriageway near Inverbeg involving a motorbike and a car at around 2.30pm.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland has confirmed a 66-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene.
The male driver of the other car was uninjured.
The A82 was closed in both directions for 10 hours while investigations were carried out at the scene between Luss and Tarbet.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 2.30pm on Sunday, July 28, police received a report of a road crash on the A82 near Inverbeg involving a motorbike and a car.
"Emergency services attended and a 66-year-old male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The male driver of the car was uninjured and a 66-year-old man has been arrested and charged with alleged road traffic offences.
"He is due to appear in court at a later date."
